THE FOUNDATION OF Connection Avenue

Working within the Community Services sector, across multiple avenues the last decade, it was not until I needed to navigate the NDIS personally that I realised my passion rests with Support Coordination. 

My little person needed support of the NDIS and I was faced with navigating such a complex system on my own, never being explained how to use a plan or its purpose. Caring for a loved one with challenges of a disability, or in many cases more than one, is a beautiful yet difficult journey, but one that needs connection with knowledge. 

It was through this experience I commenced as a Support Coordinator. This ignited a fire within to ensure that every participant and their loved ones are given the compassion, patience and knowledge they need to feel they can continue on their individual path, working towards their goals. Support Coordination equips you with the knowledge you need to build skills and confidence managing your plan, in an understanding and empathetic manner.
